For instance, in artificial stone with methyl methacrylate or unsaturated polyester resin as the matrix, the addition amount of aluminium hydroxide is generally 50%-70%. In acrylic artificial stone countertops, the proportion of aluminium hydroxide is approximately 65%. Among the composite acrylic artificial stone countertops and aluminum powder polyester artificial stone countertops, its proportion is also around 65%. In an artificial stone formula that includes quartz sand, aluminium hydroxide powder, resin and additives, the weight component of aluminium hydroxide powder is 50 to 60 parts, and it also accounts for a relatively high proportion in the total formula.
However, the specific addition amount still needs to be adjusted according to factors such as the performance requirements of artificial stone, the type of resin, the particle size and purity of aluminium hydroxide, etc.
