Aluminum hydroxide Flame retardancy

Aluminum hydroxide for rubber is widely used in rubber products, mainly due to its flame retardant and filling properties. The specific applications are as follows: 

Flame-retardant rubber products

Aluminum hydroxide is used for rubber parts that require fire resistance and flame retardancy, such as cable sheaths, conveyor belts, and seals, like flame-retardant conveyor belts for coal mines and insulation layers of high-voltage cables. It inhibits combustion by decomposing and absorbing heat and isolating oxygen, thereby enhancing safety.

Industrial rubber products

Aluminum hydroxide is filled in rubber hoses, rubber sheets and shock-absorbing parts to improve the processing fluidity of the rubber compound, while enhancing the hardness, wear resistance and dimensional stability of the products, such as sealing rubber strips for automobiles and wear-resistant rubber sheets for machinery.
