Storage and Transportation
Aluminum Sulfate for industrial sewage treatment should be stored in a dry place to prevent moisture absorption and caking. During transportation, it should be protected from rain to avoid dissolution.
Safety Operation
The aqueous solution of aluminium sulfate is acidic. Contact with skin or eyes may cause irritation. Protective gloves and goggles should be worn. In case of leakage, cover with sand and then clean up.
Sludge Treatment
The generated sludge should be dehydrated (e.g. by plate and frame filter press) and not be randomly piled up to prevent secondary pollution.
Process Optimization
Determine the optimal dosage and pH through small-scale tests. When necessary, use Aluminum Sulfate for industrial sewage treatment in combination with coagulant aids such as PAM to reduce dosage and sludge production.
