Activated Alumina balls for hydrogen peroxide has regular particle size, smooth at surface, with high mechanical strength and strong adsorption of moisture, it don't expand and crack after adsorbing water, original shape is kept.

Using industrial aluminum hydroxide as raw material, after crushing, molding such as extrusion, pelletizing, drying, and then dehydration through high-temperature calcination usually at 500-700 ℃, the final product is activated aluminum oxide ball with a porous structure and high specific surface area.

The application of activated alumina balls for hydrogen peroxide is centered on their high specific surface area, porous structure and chemical stability. Activated AL2O3 for H2O2 have a surface area significantly over 200 m2/g.They not only serve as catalyst carriers in the production process but also enhance the purity and stability of hydrogen peroxide through adsorption.

Activated alumina ball are mainly used in hydrogen peroxide for catalyst regeneration and purification. Their specific functions are as follows:

①Catalyst carrier for hydrogen peroxide production by the anthraquinone process

Hydrogen peroxide is commonly produced by the anthraquinone process, in which activated alumina balls are used as carriers for palladium catalysts.It provides a stable supporting structure for palladium catalysts, increases the specific surface area of the catalysts, and enhances catalytic efficiency.

When the catalyst is poisoned and deactivated by impurities (such as organic substances, metal ions, etc.), the porous structure of activated alumina balls can adsorb some impurities and assist the catalyst in restoring its activity.

② Purification and impurity removal of hydrogen peroxide

The finished hydrogen peroxide may contain trace amounts of metal ions (such as iron, copper, etc.) or organic impurities, which can accelerate the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide and affect its stability. The adsorption characteristics of activated alumina balls can be used for adsorbing metal ions and organic impurities in hydrogen peroxide, reducing the risk of decomposition and extend the storage period.

Due to its stable chemical properties, it does not react with hydrogen peroxide and can maintain structural stability during the purification process.
